Affiliate disclosure

Some links on dealzfeed.com are affiliate links: if you click one and buy something, the merchant pays this site a commission. It costs you nothing — the price is the same either way.

Referrals are tracked by affiliate networks: an affiliate link redirects through the network's own domain on the way to the merchant, and that redirect can set a cookie on the network's domain so the sale is credited to this site. The networks we work with are Travelpayouts and CJ Affiliate.

How they become affiliate links is worth stating plainly, because it does not happen on this server. dealzfeed.com publishes plain merchant links, and a script from Travelpayouts — its Drive product — rewrites the ones Travelpayouts can monetise into network links inside your browser, flagging every link it changes as a paid one. So which links pay this site is decided by Travelpayouts's catalogue rather than by us, we do not know in advance which ones they will be, and a link's destination can differ from the address printed in the page. That script watches more than links; what it collects is set out on the privacy page.

None of that happens unless you let it. That script does not load until you accept it, and if you decline, every link on this site stays the plain merchant link it was published as and nothing you click here earns this site anything. You are asked once, on your first visit, and the privacy page is where you can change the answer later, in either direction.

Commissions keep the site running; they do not decide what gets listed. Deals are ranked by discount quality, price history, source trust, and community votes, and the feed spreads listings across retailers so one store cannot fill the page — the ranking has no input for what a link pays us. Nor could it: the order you see is settled on this server before the page is sent, and any link that gets monetised is rewritten afterwards, in your browser, on a page already in the order it was going to be. Declining the script changes what your links pay us and changes nothing about which deals you are shown or in what order. That applies to community submissions too — a member's link is monetised the same way, whether or not they added a tag themselves.

Where the prices come from

Every crossed-out “was” price on dealz is the merchant’s own list price, read from the store’s product data at the time we fetched it. On a community submission it is the figure the submitter entered. It is not an appraisal by dealz, and it is not a claim about the lowest price available anywhere. Where we have watched a price over time ourselves, the deal page shows that history and labels it as ours.
